A comic of one of the MANY things that I find is atrociously stupid with the furry fandom. Today's episode: speciest loyalties!
More often than not I tend to find furfags with the whole thing where they are devotedly loyal and overprotective of their self-declared species- to the point that if they view their species under any level of duress or harm they will flip out and whine their head off.
Here's the thing, its ok to be against animal cruelty, but don't make this superficial "connection" to a self-declared animal species and overly defend that over any other. I don't care for your whining and in fact it secret drives me to find ways to torment you more.

Not complaining about your message, but I don't necessarily see how the gripes in the description are demonstrated by the comic.
I see they are both squirrels.
I see that one doesn't care about squirrels and the other does.
...but where is the squirrel who only complains about squirrel abuse and doesn't fret over other types of animal cruelty?

but now it's just a comic about a sad squirrel and a sociopath squirrel.
Sad squirrel is upset by youtube.
He becomes more upset when witnessing a fellow squirrel thoughtlessly kill another squirrel.
I don't get any message from that.
Though, the timing on the "squirrel getting hit by car" was pretty tight.

I'm like this, just with all animals.
My spirit animal is the squirrel and my species is raccoon, but I give them no extra consideration when it comes to stuff like this. Humans don't get any, either.

When something dies, it's sad. I recognize when something has to die or it happens for a reason, so it always gets to me when there is no reason. Doesn't matter if a guy is shooting a BB gun at rats, swerving to hit a squirrel in his car or hunting deer for the fun of it. They all get an equal level of disdain from me. >:|

I remember one artist getting raged on 'cause she drew a generic fox on the receiving end of something horrible. Never mind that the rest of her gallery was horrible things happening to just about every species, being mean to foxes is a HATE CRIME.
Naturally, Generic Victim Fox showed up a lot after that.
