This is my character warren (seen here mid transformation http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7960484/). He is a human/guardian beast hybrid, similar to a fu-dog (which is a dog/guardian beast hybrid) in the modern urban fantasy setting of a tabletop RPG I'm playing with my roommates. Here, I've drawn his portrait in human and mostly beastial forms. His Fu form's face is based on a clouded leopard, as I love their long distinguished muzzles (which also house the proportionally longest canine teeth of extant felids).

Warren is an awkward ball of fluff. Though he was aware of his inhuman parentage, he displayed no apparent differences from a normal human for most of his life. It was only after he and his best friends were confronted with a leathal supernatural threat that his own supernatural side surfaced. This left him permanently altered, who once was a shy, petite, waif-ish boy, is now an immense, muscular, shy, and gentle young man. He does his best to balance his human life as a college freshman with being a beast who preys upon supernatural predators (he eats monsters... at least those he can overpower). He cannot tolerate those who use their strength to bully the meek, as he feels one should use their strength to help and nurture those who are weaker, as one may never know what amazing things the meek may achieve.

Warren is quite the arts-and-crafts type. As there is little clothing selection for one with his measurements, he often adds paint and screen prints to his clothes. His shirt is based on his love of a certain flutter-shy pony featured in a girl's cartoon show that he has grown quite fond of.

Also, one of these days I'm going to write out the at history of fu-dogs. It was something my art-history prof and I ended up researching quite a bit while at school, and it's really neat.
