This image is the generic soldier, different from the drone in that they have additional spore pouches, are roughly 30% larger in size, have an extra pair of limbs (typically arms), an elongated snout rather than a rounded, balloon-shaped head, and a tail designed for rapid stabbing and injection.

Unlike the drone, soldiers cannot mutate and evolve without the assistance of a broodmother, as they are already built for direct confrontation. Their spores are just a caustic as any other member of the brood, so be careful ;3
