As promised, I've saved the best for last in my latest 'photo-op' assortment for 'sweeps month' (May, 2012)... as I'm paired up with legendary Disney character 'Goofy'! ("Hyuk!")
Back in the late 1980s, when I'd visited my father (Joaquin Martinez) at his Margate (Florida) condo for the first time, he arranged for me to take a three-day side trip to some of the Orlando theme parks (with Day One at the Magic Kingdom in DisneyWorld, Day Two at Sea World, and Day Three at EPCOT in DisneyWorld).
During my visit to the Magic Kingdom, I came across a number of costumed Disney characters, but the only chance I had to share a "Kodak moment" with one of them was with 'Goofy'. I was unaware that this classic klutzy dog was going to go on to bigger and better things (including his own TV series ["Goof Troop"] and several animated film features [e.g. "A Goofy Movie"]).
As usual, your comments and opinions (and 'faves') about my 'photo-op' series are welcome. I hope to present more celebrity pictures (with or without me) during my next 'sweeps month' (in September, 2012)!
