Can't say I know much about car rivalries. My Civic was bought by my father as my first car; it had a cheap price tag and was cheap to maintain. Which made it the perfect work car.

we had the minivan since I was little so it had emotional connection
otherwise I would only chose chevy or VW
but the Chevys I want I cant afford gas for LOL

A co-worker talked me into the Jetta. Originally I was thinking of an Altima but I found an '08 Wolfsburg for sale. Yatta, yatta, yatta, car salesman was a douchebag, took my business elsewhere and got my current '06 Jetta 2.5
