Great information about a species but what I do not understand is if they are nomads, why is it that they do not move from place to place following the water and herds of food?

The Tribal (or civilised) ones mostly live along the sides of the valleys that the Caled and its tributaries. The ferals live mostly in the Nachenthu basin where the land is far more fertile and prey much more readily available; of them only the males are nomadic, and they typically venture between territories staked out by the females, or fly further afield as the desire takes them.
