The way civilization domesticates us into easily manageable automatons has never quiet sat right with me... This song I'd like to dedicate to all the protestors being mowed down in Myanmar right now, as well as our own captive populations that have been blinded by the materialistic culture that continues to perpetuate our imminent doom.
Lyrics:
Too docile to defend against authority
Just the way they like us to be
Unquestioning, obedient, too blind to see
The prison in development around our community
Silenced by force when we try to inform
Punishment in store if we don't conform
And take our place within the human farm
Does anyone else feel the coming storm?
Cries for revolution are growing louder and louder tonight
While the television blairs the latest epic Hollywood fight
Do you really think the government knows what's right
For every creature in the circle of life?
Deny them the ignorance they've bred into you
Think for yourself to uncover the truth
Kings and presidents leave us screwed
Picking up the pieces of things we once knew
There's only one thing now left to do
Break ourselves out of this self-designed zoo

That's awesome to know! :D Just don't let your commanding officer know you still possess the ability to think freely. I almost joined the Marines right after my 18th birthday, but I was unexpectedly yanked up and dragged off to MEPS by my recruiter where I prompty failed the hell out of my drug test. XD
