Laguna and Ora sitting on a rock in a pond having a moment of tranquility. Laguna is small here, but he can change his size and Ora is about 13 years old. She is small for her size so she could I suppose appear to be 10. I don’t want to spoil too much of that though for the comic. I like cows and it was nice to finally draw the beasties. Cows are cute >w< Laguna, Ora, and the cows are all cell shaded. The background is digital work made in Adobe 7.

If I had to come up with some sort of critique, I would suggest you to pay closer attention to the contrast of shadows and the colour of light. Currently the central characters stand out pretty much. If you could see a shadow of the trees or some sunny highlights on their skin they would be more clearly part of the overall image.
I'm not saying I have any idea of how to create such an effect myself, it's just something I thought of. Your ability of picking colours and drawing details and textures is very impressive. It encourages me to improve my own skills. =)

It's difficult to see but there is some reflection on their skin, though I agree entirely that I could have gone much further with such detail and also added more shadow. At the time I wasn't really sure how to do it as I've never attempted a scene like this before =)It was very challenging lol.
