So I came up with this neat high-pitched guitar riff at work and wrote it down. Then I keyed those notes into a guitar synth and distorted it. Then I accidentally clicked "Bitcrusher" instead of "Chorus" when I went to add another effect... and it sounded cool. owO
Now I've got a heavy metal drop using synth lead and bass guitars, sampled drums, and a Reese bass synth taking the role of a rhythm guitar, and I like it.
Not sure where this is gonna go, but I'm thinking rap-metal verses a la Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. and probably not many words in the chorus, maybe a brostep breakdown with a guitar solo towards the end... we'll see what happens!
Yes, the mixing and mastering is terrible. This one's gonna be a pain in the ass, I can already tell xD
