I've had this sitting on my desktop for months.
I want to use it as an id...don't want to associate my posting of it with "before watchmen" so *shrugs* may as well post it now.
I don't know why but whenever I do fanart I get this awful embarrassed feeling like I don't want anyone to see it & I just want to hide under the bed after having created it. Like it's some unmentionable guilty pleasure or something. Maybe I feel like exposing myself for having revealed that I like a thing enough to create art based on it...:p
(Maybe I just don't what people to know I'm a huge dork.)
Maybe I'm just thinking too much as usual.

I know! :( I actually really loved the movie, I know a lot of ppl didn't like it, but I knew they couldn't have gotten every little thing in there, it would have been a week long! Im even okay with how they changed the ending. (They probably did it to avoid the island scene.) I was sad they didn't include the sugar cubes though.
I agree with all of that! Have you seen the Director's Cut? They actually worked the weird pirate comic from the story into it, and there's some fantastic scenes that got put back in. And yeah, seriously, I would have looooved the sugar cubes to stay in. [Can't remember if they're in the director's cut or not, don't -think- so, but it's been a while since I've seen that version]
Yeah I can't even remember exactly which scenes weren't in the theatrical release because I've seen the directors cut way more times by now, but I remember thinking "man, why did they cut that!?" Lol. I don't think the sugar cubes are in the movie at all though. You know Ive seen the animated pirate bit, but I haven't actually watched it integrated into the movie yet, even though I have that version now. Maybe i'll throw it in tonight since my laptops broken &I i'll be need something to do. ;)
