I actually didn't know Kim was married, which is kind of an insult seeing how I claimed to be a big fan of him. He (not including Mai) was my favorite character from SNK. I admit, I was going to cheat and look up the answer for the cool points, but decided not to, and will let someone else get them. However I did discover something really interesting by reading about Kim. Did you know he's named after the original President of NEO GEO, back in the 90's. The same exact name. Which is why his full name was used in earlier games, but when SNK was bought out...the first time they had to change his name to just Kim. Interesting huh?
Yeah, I lost track of the SNK games a long time ago. I think the last time I played as Kim, was in Capcom VS SNK 2. I love the female verson of him, the young lady all the way on the left, I forgot her name. Her english voice actor sucks horribly, but she's my second favorote charger in the new King Of Fighters Maximum Impact 2006. Second to Hattori Hanzo of course.
Well you have to be thin to practically defy gravity. TaeKwonDo takes years of constant practice to be decent at. Fact of the matter is, you can't accomplish the kind of agility doing a 720 provides in many other martial arts.
If you want to be able to hurt someone else, purchase a gun.

JHUN OWNS YOU ALL.
I wish SNK (or any other company, for that matter) would hurry up and give capoeira a DECENT fighter. So far all's we've had is annoying Brazillian stereotypes. DOA4 gave Drunken Boxing a cool fighter, now why can't someone give Capoeira one? D:
Jhun still kicks ass though. Style-change-based fighters FTW. That and K'.

It's harsh to compare Guilty Gear to other fighters really. I still like a few others. I like Soul Calibur a bit because it captures weapon fighting well, and is one of few games to do a Dual Sworder well. Cervantes fricken rocks. But really, comparing Guilty Gear with almost any other 2D fighter is just unfair.
Either way, Slayer and Order Sol FTFW. May's just pedobear fodder.

Eh. Soul Caliber lost its love from me after a while. It never seemed that skill mattered in the long run, and that so long as you picked Raphael (CHEESEMONGER) and force a ring-out, you'd win. I do agree that its one of the few weapons-based games that seemed to work well, though.
Slayer is win, but Order Sol (and Sol in general) is laaaame. Spam some dust loop and yer good.

Eh. I only play with friends, and we hold honour pretty damn highly. I use Cervantes, friend uses Custom character with Taki, another uses Ivy but steers clear of her ranged moves... And on most occasions, any one of us would sooner let off on the attack and back away in truce than push on for a Ringout. Ringouts are for lamers.
Did I mention the character customization is awesome?
As for GG, screw normal Sol. Dust-loopers can go suck a big one. Order Sol's just cool because:
1: Outfit
2: Charge mechanic
3: Freaking massive damage
4: Gunblaze, confusion tactics rule
5: ????
6: PROFIT!!
Wait, that seemed a bit out of place...

Guilty Gear is meant to be played at a tournament/extremely high level, the developers rarely pretend otherwise to this. People who think IK's are broken, or even close to good, aren't the people the game is aimed at. I've been playing Guilty Gear for years and haven't been hit with an IK since about 3 months after picking it up. I've only even seen an IK being ATTEMPTED in the last 2 years twice. Both were on Youtube, both were in very unique circumstances (Eddie dizzying someone, or when ABA's Double Edge gauge runs out). So, yeah, in higher-level play IKs lose their use entirely.
It's not the end-all, no. But it is the fastest and the most balanced 2D fighter you can buy, and among the most good-looking. (Unless you're into the whole 2.5D graphics thing.) So, for me, and for now, at least, it is the end-all.

mmm, i'm familiar with most of those except the last one on the right.
however, u might have missed one, Kim sue il. now i'm not sure about it but i read kim sue il is kim's brother, not sure it's official or not, but if i recall they fight similar.
kim sue il is originally from kizuna ecounter, however, he was kim's alternate striker in kof 2000, and made a cameo in kof2002 in a background.
also, u could count baedal (jhun's alternate striker in kof 2000) as one, he also makes a cameo in 2002 in the same stage as sue il, however baedal as far as i know is only a striker and never been an actual playable char.
there's also cool choi and smart chang, but those dont count. at least to me.
mmm, really lost track of kof in the recent years... nice pic, brings back memories.

The irony being that I used to take TDK and am not a fan of it at all as a martial art, Team Korea stands out in my mind.
The first time I played KOF (I believe it was KOF '97) I made the mistake of choosing team America, when it was made up of the football player, basketball player, and prizefighter because the designers are haters like that. My first match was against team Korea, and I didn't make it though their first fighter: Kim.

Let's see: Chae Lim (KOF MI), Chang Koehan (KOF 94+), May Lee (KOF 2001+), Choi Bounge (KOF 94+), Kim Dong Hwan (Garou: MOTW), One of KDH's girlfriends, who I believe isn't explicitly named (Garou: MOTW), Kim Kap Hwan (Fatal Fury+), Kim Jae Hoon (Garou: MOTW), Sausu (Garou: MOTW), Jhun Hoon (King of Fighters 99+), Seo Yong Song (Buriki One). That should be right!
Mysteriously absent is Kim Sue Il (Kizuna Encounter).
Kim's wife's name is Myeng Swuk, by the by.
