Enjoy this pleasing and delicious pie from the kitchens of

Ingredients
Dough
2 tea cups of flour
5 tablespoons of butter (without salt)
1 egg yolk
3 tablespoons of water (if the dough is too dry)
Filling
5 small red apples
1 tea cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of cloves
1/2 tea cup of black raisins
zest of 1 lemon
juice of half a lemon
way to prepare
Dough
Mix in a bowl with your fingertips butter and flour until it forms a crumbly. then add the egg yolk and mix, even with the fingertips until it forms a uniform ball. Add water if the dough is too dry.
Line with the dough a pie pan, removable bottom preferably, and set aside in the refrigerator.
Filling
Cut the apple into slices not too thin. Go to a saucepan and add the brown sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves, and cook on medium heat, stirring until apples loose liquid.
When the apples are well cooked and a good part of liquid evaporated, remove from heat then add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Let cool.
Take the pie pan and place the filling. To decorate, open the remaining dough and cut into strips, arranging them over the filling, or cut with cookie cutters of your choice.
Place in the oven, and bake in a medium / high heat, for about 30 minutes, or until the edge of the dough golden brown.
Tips
NEVER knead the dough pie, because it will develop the gluten in flour, letting the dough elastic. And when baked, will be hard and difficult to cut.
When you mix it with just the fingertips, the dough had become brittle, and when baking, it's easy to cut and light, like a cookie.
A very good accompaniment to this pie is white chocolate ice cream or vanilla ice cream. Serve with the still hot pie, it's delicious x3
If you don't like the strong flavor of brown sugar, use the same measure of refined sugar in his place.
