True facts: I had misplaced this page for several months before completing it, and only recently came across it again. Since it has been so long and these images represent the start of the games climax, I thought I'd take the extra time and effort to touch it up digitally.

So, where were we? The chosen four finally reach the meteor in Onett and extract the rare mineral called Zexonyte which can power Dr. Andonuts' Phase Distorter. They return the mineral to Andonuts in Saturn Valley and the Phase Distorter is fixed by the following day. Once everyone is prepared the group take the Phase Distorter and travel to the Cave of the Past. Once in the Cave of the Past, Adonuts appears in his own newly repaired Phase Distorter to inform the kids that Giygas is attacking their exact location several years in the past. In order to stop it, they will have to use the Phase Distorter 3 to travel through time. However, only inorganic matter can be sent to the past, and so the chosen four will have to have their brains decoded and transferred into four host robots along with their 'spirits', all the while their own lifeless bodies will remain in the present. The kids agree to take the chance of never returning, make the transfer, and utilize the Phase Distorter 3 to travel to the Cave of the Past, in the past. Phew. No turning back now. It's time to save the Earth!

Once there, they begin the trek to Giygas' lair which is guarded by roaming gangs of high powered alien thugs. The kids cut through like butter and proceed into the lair. Inside is a long winding hall of pulsating organic matter, at the end of which lies a large ominous machine. The orb in the center slowly reveals the face of Ness, and immediately afterward Pokey appears, piloting a mechanical spider vehicle. He gloats and reveals that Giygas led him to assist in his plans. He also reveals that Giygas can no longer control his own immense destructive power, and has become unstable. With that Pokey attacks the party, and it soon becomes clear that POKEY MEANS BUSINESS.
