Overlord/Master-Protector: Maybe...
[stops mid-speech and looks away] I see someone. No need for hiding in you, I have a gift for that man.
[A mysterious figure in a hooded robe comes closer. He is holding a scythe] That doesn't look right...
[The figure stops with head facing toward the earth. I call him] Who are you?
[No answer... The figure is doing nothing. I start examining what he might be doing] ...
[stops mid-speech and looks away] I see someone. No need for hiding in you, I have a gift for that man.
[A mysterious figure in a hooded robe comes closer. He is holding a scythe] That doesn't look right...
[The figure stops with head facing toward the earth. I call him] Who are you?
[No answer... The figure is doing nothing. I start examining what he might be doing] ...
[overlord is too concentrated in the figure. He has no clue Corro is still behind him. As Corro tries to get Overlord's attention, The figure finally looks straight into Corro's eyes. Overlord looks at Corro and shields the orbs to keep Corro from falling into a trans. Overlord becomes a drill Sergeant when it comes to anger, and the figure triggered Overlord's temper...] YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE ANYONE!!! YOU WILL STOP THIS NON-SENSE, STRANGER!!! REMOVE CORRO!!!
[the figure looks to Overlord, raises it's scythe and sends a spine-chilling shrill, causing Overlord to flinch and remove the hands off Corro's eyes. Overlord is now cupping his ears. Overlord's eyes shut tight as he curled to the floor trying to overcome the terrible sound. Corro seems untouched from the scream, as if he never heard it. Corro then attempts to lift Overlord and ignores the temptation to keep Overlord safe. Overlord's red ears are now bleeding. He looks to Corro and hands him a God-Killer handgun.]
...Get...rid of...him...
[the figure looks to Overlord, raises it's scythe and sends a spine-chilling shrill, causing Overlord to flinch and remove the hands off Corro's eyes. Overlord is now cupping his ears. Overlord's eyes shut tight as he curled to the floor trying to overcome the terrible sound. Corro seems untouched from the scream, as if he never heard it. Corro then attempts to lift Overlord and ignores the temptation to keep Overlord safe. Overlord's red ears are now bleeding. He looks to Corro and hands him a God-Killer handgun.]
...Get...rid of...him...
[Overlord is not surprised. All types of fades (shadow, shade, reaper, ghoul, demon, and dark-angel) are immune to mental and physical illusions and diseases. Overlord takes back the weapon and feebly aims out to the figure, until, the figure looks at Overlord and lowers it's hood. Overlord finds out that the figure is not a reaper. It is in fact a shade. The shade had no head or any body part. The only thing keeping it up is the scythe it holds. Overlord grins and gives Corro back the gun]
You don't need to... shoot him... shoot the scythe!

[the bullet successfully hit the scythe. The shade let out another sharp wail and fell to the floor. Overlord gets up and limply walks to the robe. The shade is now just a robe on the floor. Overlord grabs the scythe and wraps it in the robe]
[Overlord speaks] The most powerful illusion to humans is to look at the glare the scythe provides. It is a good thing I am resistant to all types of illusion.[He stops and thinks a bit. Overlord realized that Corro is also immune to illusions]
[he continues where he stopped] Say, I'm kind of like you... [Overlord stops again, but this time he is looking for something. A loud wind noise comes forth]
What the... [a large explosion comes from the robe, flinging Overlord's two ton body at Corro. Overlord's weight in metal overwhelmed the momentum and velocity. He cannot speak, for he is damaged, badly. Corro cannot speak either, for he is in shock. Overlord's body lunges into Corro, knocking both to the ground]
Ha! Thanks for blocking my fall [Overlord soon realizes Corro is knocked cold...] ...Shit-Fuck!
[Thanks to Overlord's mass in muscle and hydraulics, he successfully lifts Corro's large furry body. Overlord makes the long trip to the town hospital, for they were twenty miles away. Hopefully, Overlord can withstand the pressure...] ...

[Overlord looks to Corro's face in an exhausted look] Your awake. [Overlord smiles, but continues his journey]
You still must rest. I was built for this. I cannot stop... [but he did stop. With Corro still on his shoulder, he looks beyond and sees the town. Corro accepts the advice and continues to rest, but this time Corro has a smile] We're almost there, buddy.
[Overlord seems over-joyed and worried at the same time. Overlord continues to walk while stopping every now and then to ensure Corro that both of them will be cared for] About one mile left! I will make it to the hospital and you will be safer than anyone else! Keep resting.
[They successfully made it to town. The first thing Overlord does is set the happily asleep fur-ball onto to asphalt below. Overlord wanders off in search for help. Luckily, there was a paramedic a couple buildings away]
[Overlord speaks to the doctor] Help. There is an injured Shadow-Guardian over there on the street. We encountered a shade. It attacked me and harmed him. Help us. [The doctor takes a glance to the violet colored lump and nods his head, but never looked away from the shadow] Thank you.
[The doctor comes to Corro's aid. Overlord thinks of an alternative to being inside Corro due to the intensive care Corro will have] I will stand by your side, soldier. I will protect you... {END}
