I was also tempted to call this one 'Snake Battle 'n' Roll', but I feared no one would recognize the reference. So, I was trying to figure out what to draw at work, Thursday. I wanted to draw a feline, but the usual standing character portrait type of pose I do seemed so... boring. Then the idea for this popped into my head, and I'd been wanting to do a picture like this for a while. And, so, I figured, hey, why not?
In retrospect, I wish I'd left more room on the page to have the cat with his sword hauled back for a good swing, rather than readied for a stab, but either way works, I suppose.
And before anyone asks, neither of these are particular characters of mine.

...aww, but the kitty looks so very much like a pissed off Jiang. Like the snake stole his sunglasses or such. :P
Seriously, though, the picture came out good. You should draw more stuff like this. You do good with it when you do. It comes out looking really nice. Even if the snake does look more than a touch surprised to be getting stuck by the kitty's blade.

Hairbeads For Teh Wins! Right, so, I'm personaly voting for the kitty, myself. I mean, I like snakes, but kitties have fur, which makes them innately more likeable, in my humble opinion.
Although, personaly, I like to think that, moments after the events here pictured, they solve their differences amicably and go their separate ways to live happily ever after.

Oooh, nice indeed... I especially like the look on the snakie's face, with those slitted eyes and all. He looks really pissed... though who wouldn't be with some armored fuzzy thing trying to stab me? ;)
Oh, and put me down for the snakie winning. Since that's, like, nature, or something. And has nothing to do with my love of snakies. :p
