Actually some of the newer cameras have worse distortion than older ones, it just depends on the camera. At least you have digital cameras to learn on first. I had to learn on 35mm then relearn digital. Bleh. My best pictures have been on 35mm but dammit skippy, digital cameras are handy and instant aaand you arent getting dirty looks from the old lady at the film developers seeing the photos of naked mousy girls either...
