due the Texilestinae genetic which is partly very similar to the Keranidae genetic the infection has a more natural form and the Marker is not visible on a normal scale. His mark is internal and the type of the mark is different as well due the complications the brings with it. Both devour information and link it with their system so there is a split system needed to not make them interfere with each other. The Keranidae only shares the system with Keranidae bound beings.

Due it he is a natural shape shifter on a scale that is not very different to an original Keranid. I my self would not consider him an infected but an enhanced Textilestinae.
