When you're eager to grow up, enough is as good as a feast.
This is actually for last week's prompt, "Coming of age." It took me a while to realize that this little scene could fit the theme easily enough, and then it took me a good bit longer to come up with the time to write it in.
As for the piece itself, the female character is a comic idea I've had for quite some time. Originally, she was meant for a short-sighted and short-lived series of furry work I never really got around to writing. I don't know why I keep writing about raccoons. Or about kids. I hope you all get a kick out of this.

I laughed to this. The beginning was very good, even cute, I read it and tought; "Who could be offended by this story?" I really liked it. Then:
"I totally saw through the curtain when she was yelling at the bull."
I nearly fell my chair. Absolutely hilarious. Boys are always boys. I started to like this story even more, even if because of a different thing. Great story.
