I can't think in real materials anywhere near the way I can think in AI. I have to plan everything out in pencil then go over it. AI lets me just be OH I NEED SOLID WHITE RIGHT HERE.
If I had white ink that was perfectly opaque, I could probably approach what I do in AI in real media. But I've never found that.
