Yep, yet another armadillo pic to add to the others that have been done though I had this as a sketch since January tbh but >:C

But yeah, just a puffy armadillo. Normally, a nine-banded armadillo can swallow air to inflate its belly to just about twice its normal size to be able to float across water, but this one was given a bet by one of his friends to inflate himself further than that. He took up the challenge and started inhaling and gulping down lots of air, quickly bloating up his stomach (as well as his tail (It's my story so that's what happened >:c)) After puffing himself up to about 5 times his normal build, he had won the bet; however, he had just realized that it takes armadillos quite a long time to deflate themselves when they just get to twice their normal size, meaning that he would be in for a very long wait until he can deflate back to normal size (and even longer when he realizes what happened to his tail. xP)

I actually found it surprising how quick I inked this up, even with all of the scales on the plates. all in just an hour, and I'm quite pleased with how it came out.

Not really sure if I this will stay a random armadillo or if I will keep it as a character though knowing me it will be the latter if I can think of a name for it *explodes*
