Hey, I dunno. Lol. I'm surprised that it's not a military vehicle pulling it. No cops, no humvees, nothing, just the truck with a tank on it. At least I didn't see any. I did see a Howitzer the same morning. I have a feeling they're coming from the Yakima Training Center.

Hm, that is peculiar. But yeah, I dunno what was up with it, I remember seeing it go past as I was getting on the highway and it took me a second, at first I was like "what the hell is that?!" then my brain caught up, and I pulled out my camera and snapped it as I was passing it.

*chuckles8 this makes me think of my close encounter with a tank. Was driving with my dad down to a campsite he was working on. and on the way we had a Canadian C2 Leopard drive up onto the road in front of us and just turn to drive calmly in front of us for a few miles. the funny thing was in huge letters writen on its back was "STUDENT DRIVER" I don't know to be scared or not so my dad and I gave him like 12 car lengths distance because us.

Lol, that's funny. I dunno if they transport tanks like that here on public highways. Actually, the only time I've seen a truck hauling a full grown tank were the pictures of the Transformer Movie set. It was cool though.

*nods and giggles* well I do remember while driving to FC last year, me and a friend past a convoy of 6 flat bed trucks carrying 4 broken down fighter jets. all the wings had been removed and was on a different trucks from the jets.

The scary part though was that one of the jets had its whole body sheared off as if someone had tried to land it without landing gear.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was the damage. Even if it's not broken down, if they transport it by truck or train, they pull the wings, elevators and rudders(sometimes) off and put them on a different truck.

As to the earlier comment, that's an M1A1, nost likely broken down and headed somewhere to get fixed. They DO transport by rail most of the time, but I guess they needed it fixed. I know it's an M1A1 because the A2s have little reactive armor plates up top on the turret and on the sides, and have little things all over them. Their smoke launchers are also a bit bigger, and the tread rollers are different.

Yup...if you run the stretch of I90 East or West over Snoqualmie Pass (As well as I405N and S to and from I90) in the mid to late morning, you'll see convoys of military vehicles on a daily basis.
