I remember - this was (is?) your neck of the woods? Not far from the Big Black Tower Block of Death.

No longer I'm afraid...contracts dried up and I didn't need to be in that area. Although that picture brings back memories for me as my friend was a Social Worker on the estate next to the pylon.

Fun fact: apparently the black tower is used semi-legally to shoot adult movies in.

I had the lovely idea that if one day, all our electric lines go cold, the earth instead, would make use of it, and send signals from them. And this looks like an answer to the call.

It's a lovely composition, and I adore the colors you chose too.

Beautiful! Unfortunately, in Texas the lifeless ground below the pylons is prime territory for fire ants, so you won't find such a bohemian scene here. :P
