This is the companion piece to the fox-in-my-room-pic. I wasn't happy that the pic actually didn't include the place where I draw, and that is in bed. ^_^ I've done it that way probably since I was 12, so it's kind of natural for me now.
Plus you finally get to see the Tablet PC I use, which if you look closely at the grip, it's a bit worn for the wear after 2 years. X3 But it still works, so it's all good.
Yeah, I really do draw with the tablet sideways like that. I'll also roll on my back with the tablet gripped between my arm when I get tired of drawing sideways. ^_^
Top of the pic is East, and that is towards the computer area in the other pic.
Heehee, can you tell who I'm drawing on that screen? =3
The only thing I'm really not happy about is the vinyl look of my character's fur. Also the shot was taken at night but I had to add extra light to make the background a bit more visible. X3
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the other reason I do my art in bed: (Now say it with with me XD )
"Caribbean Fox is more creative in bed." X3
Drawn with Paint.net and Photoshop.

Thanks! I was wondering if the upside down angle was a good idea or not... Though it kind of happened that way by default because I had to take multiple identical shots so I had to shoot from that side of the bed off the floor with a tripod.
But then I remembered you have a lot of upside down characters in your gallery and they all look great. ^_^
:fox is blushing: ^_^;;

. . . And you sir, have a VERY interesting Drawing postion o 3o
I really love these PC pic you do, You always make good lighting effects, and of course. . . The Faux ; 0; <3
Yes, the Fox could be doing anything with anything with a screen, and it would STILL be friggin cute ; A;<3. . .
Great job, once again Mr. Fox ^ 3^<3

Thanks for the really nice comments!
Yeah, I'm surprised I don't have neck strain or something. Maybe I just got accustomed to it after all these years?
I will say in the past (before the tablet, when I used my usual drawing surface which is a clipboard - which doesn't have it's clip anymore since it's as old as when I started doing art! ^_^;; ) I had to draw lying on my stomach since using a pencil requires applying a lot more pressure than a stylus.

I have to lie down and draw on books to draw e 3e. . .
oh god, I press so hard on my pencils, its becaus I hold my pencil a weird way ( I write slower then I type, and My hands hurt as I write, too . 3. )
I always get the feeling when I get a tablet, Ill be so SO terrible at it ; -;. . . hopefully the wait till Xmas for it is worth it

Yeah, I kind of used the same technique that I used with the sunlight in the previous pic, though I had to make it a little more subtle so it looks like a soft glow. Thanks for the compliments! ^_^
Hmm, odd no one noticed him holding a real stylus in his toon fingers! X3

I saw the pencil, but I was so awed by the beautiful picture and how it is so realistic, that I failed to mention about the stylus *blush*
Wow! That is how ya draw?? If I could draw, the only thing I could afford to draw on is paper and with a pencil. I hear everyone on DeviantART mention a Wegman (I believe) Nice job!!

I've had a tablet for years, but I still can't seem to get the hang of it. Traditionally drawing is so much different...
I've been thinking about - sometime in the not too distant future - plunking down a few hundred bones on a refurbished tablet PC.
How does using a tablet PC compare to pen and paper?

It is a lot more slippery than using paper, since the screen has to be to clear. ^_^ Also the tracking isn't as accurate as I would like, but that might be because I have a tablet PC with a cheap sensor instead of a nice Wacom built in.
But I seem to have gotten used to it, and for lines that I need to be really perfect I use splines instead.

Yeah, I bought it on sale for $1250 two years ago. (which was cheap a the time as more TPC's were runing in the $2000+ range. :P )
It was my method of having a sort of poor-mans's Cintiq. ^_^; But it has proven handy since I use it for pretty much all my new art. It just doesn't work well with OC because the sensor isn't a Wacom. For the next one I'll have to make sure I get one with a Wacom sensor built in.
