So I finally got some better shots of this. :p
This is my personal sage fan, and it is used quite often. One of my purification implements, and one of my favouries in my collection.
It's made using Turkey Vulture feathers, a symbol of cleansing. Some turquoise beads, representative of intellect and purity. And the skull beads are for the spirits who've moved on. I also used the teeth of a coyote which are intended to help frighten malicious spirits.
I use this with various incense like sage, cedar, rosemary, sweet grass, lavender, and my fave "fizzy pop" :D
The teeth create a unique "clinking" sound when I use it to waft scents, which I love.
