I think you're right. unless one wants to do a black ink drawing on it, I think... gotta try it out. I wonder how good it works with copics?
than again it wouldn't scan nor photograph. I once made a piece with various pieces of Bare Metal Foil on scrap cardboard, and nothign I did would bring out the metal surface AND the structures I pressed into it...
