This is my half of an art trade for the wonderful Coji! Coji and I decided to do an art trade based of of five random words that we each picked for one another.

Coji picked Umbrella, song, gray, nature, bold for the words I was to base my picture around.

The main focus is Coji's character, a lovely blue cat fox (my rendition doesn't have much cat in it >.<). There was even an awesome character sheet, which was sooooo nice for reference. As far as I can tell (lurking through her gallery), this probably is the most serene Coji you'll ever see (Coji you spaz! ^_^ hee hee hee)

Two major thoughts:

First off, THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! The exercise was just what I needed to get the creativity forcefully punched into my brain after being stagnant for so long.

Secondly, Oh my godzilla...that Umbrella was an absolute TERROR. I am so totally shocked that it turned out as good as it did. I don't normally rave about my artwork (since the critic in me is a sadist and like to make me suffer), but I actually felt the thrill of utter Bad-assery when upon completion it looked just like dun dun duuuun an umbrella! Today, perspective was beaten into submission; tomorrow it will probably make me cry again. Meh.

I would've had this up sooner, but life kept ferreting away my free time. I think that was okay though, since I'm glad I got to spend a good amount of time looking at it and planning more than I normally would.
