Really happy with the line art for this one, still playing around with weight of lines and such. I don't know if I was able to accurately represent what the commissioner was looking for, I was going off his 8 bit ref sheet. :D

I only ever found them in World 7. Never saw them anywhere else...although from what you said the one in World 6 is a pain to find. Never got more than one though, no matter what. Also had a really bad tendency to lose them too quickly at that. ><
On a better note, the Hammer Bro suit was black and white in the game....Reva actually gave me both versions, the red and blue one seen here and a black and white one here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8091378/

I play way too many games...umm...there are a number of locations in levels to actually get the suits too. They are arguably the biggest secrets of smb3 though because many require you to get to spots in levels that are hard without being hit and losing a special item you have to enter the level with. The earliest you can possibly get a suit is world 6-ice world. You can get a tanooki suit as early as world 4.
Sounds like a lot of work is involved in getting them. Too bad they're easy to lose and hard to regain.
I never cared much for the tanooki suit. I mean, with the incredibly common leaf around to give you flight, there was pretty much no real need for the tanooki suit. That and I think I just prefer throwing hammers. XD

The tankooki suit, besides being cuter than your average leaf, actually could turn you into a statue which offensively could kill almost any enemy in the game. It's also really useful. They're easy to lose, but with practice you can get through a number of stages before getting hit.
