Not entirely sure what you mean by soft coloring, but maybe it's due to me drawing while having a MASSIVE headache. So maybe I'm just trying to avoid my head from throbbing lol.

You color the way I want to oclor, you know how I over use the smudge tool? You are able to crate the effect by using the Sai brushes. So it looks "soft" At least I think that's what nawee means.
