He drew the attention of the entire room as he entered. A heavy feathered cloak was draped around him, the inky blackness of the feathers seemed to absorb light and hid his body from prying eyes. behind him a massive reptilian tail dragged and slithered. One of the most striking features, though was the masque. A shock of striking white hair, almost like a mane, anointed a skull, canid in appearance. The addition of the top hat and monocle made his monstrous appearance almost humorous. He seemed to have trouble walking-- possibly due to age, judging from his hunched over appearance-- as he skulked over to the bar and simply stood. Even for a masquerade, his costume seemed... overdone. Most, I among them, avoided him that evening, though a few of the more curious party-goers hung around him, some even daring enough to ask him to dance.
