it's only my second comic in japan so i'm pretty proud (́◉◞౪◟◉)

hahah XD maybe it's because my brain is very visually oriented? kanji are fun and easy for me to remember. italian grammar is SOOO HARD, and so many exceptions! japanese grammar is math-like, and only two tenses! of course, italian had the latin history, which makes a lot of vocab easier, but also leads to confusion sometimes.
I guess you're right. Even many Italians can't speak and write 100% correct Italian (maybe because we're just lazy and there are many dialectal influences...) XD
For me Japanese remains quite hard to learn, but it's natural if you don't or can't study it seriously. I still hope I will be able to learn it someday...
P.S.: A very difficult language to learn is Thai. It's more difficult than Italian and Japanese put together, believe me! XD

yah, i had to flip all the pages around, and the FCLG crew replace the eng sfx with jp ones
the other jp book i was in, BiG, part of it was that it was all by non-japanese, and it read right to left like in english books. but that was the biggest complaint they got! jp folk do not like to read right to left, heh!
