I recently picked up trying to learn more traditional art skills, and as I'm a total newbie to this kind of art, I'll make a lot of mistakes before I'll get better. :P
The upper pic was made with diluted ink, and the lower one with watercolours.
I'm pretty sure I did them too heavy. In the second one I made (upper), I tried being more gentle with my application.

I actually really like the first one there, even if it wasn't intended I think the diluted watercolours give the scene sort of a pelasant wintery feel, so to speak. Like how a forest scene would look during a foggy day, maybe it's just because there's something about those types of scenes more appealing on a more personal level, but yeah, it's pretty great. c:
The Gree on the bottom looks pretty good too, the figure is well defined, and the colour job on the markings is well done, I think.
