To remove your heart to not feel bad things means stripping yourself of good feelings, too. It's like what Auron said in Final Fantasy X: We can either take the cowards way out and remove all feeling from our hearts or we can live on and fight our sorrow so that we can enjoy the good times when they come. I chose the latter.

But hey, do what you like. You have the freedom to do so. Just thought I'd toss in my two cents.
