2. Natira $8 [Not Taken]
Natira is a grey and beige striped skunk. I was surprised and delighted last year to discover that striped skunks are actually becoming a common household pet due to allergies to cats and dogs.
A domestic skunk shelter in the Netherlands invited me to visit them, but I had to decline due to the cost of the flight and because my life was busy. Of course, my mom was also questioning my safety--but I wasn't about to let her stop me from going, as I'd just turned 18 and... well... skunks. Adorable!
My favorite part about drawing Natira was her tail. Doing dual-hued hair using my technique is difficult, combining SAI's pen and brush tools, but it was very rewarding.
Enjoy!
