Just another pic of my ol' Bimmer. Had her for a year now and still love her, even if she needs a little work.
I've not had a vehicle that drives quite as nice as the BMW. I'm a big fan :)
Anyway, haven't posted anything in forever, that will probably be a continuing trend so I thought I'd just throw something up quickly for grins.

Yeah, I'm stuck driving an 01 Pathfinder usually, that thing is scary... 1 door doesn't work, just got AC back, the check engine light is always on frighteningly, the brakes just barely work, and the lights go on and off inside whenever they please. I always look at that thing in the driveway whenever I see another car from 01 that looks almost new XD Like right now....
I've had my fair share of cars I thought wanted to kill me :P I remember a 93 Pontiac Grand Prix that shook like mad at 65 MPH or higher, the CD player would actually skip. Gas gauge didn't work either which caused me to get stranded out in the middle of no where once xD
The Pathfinder probably isn't that amazing on gas too is it? That is a huge issue now days...

oh god no it isn't X3 it also makes an odd noise every pothole it hits, plus the windshield is a total loss. Gas flap won't come out unless you use a screwdriver, the interior is nonexistent, and it has a nest of spiders somewhere in it, I'm arachnophobic and it really keeps me awake.
That poor Pathfinder xD It's amazing how quickly (2001 model) vehicles now days seem to fall apart...
I remember my first car, 1988 Dodge Daytona, paid $600 for it and it was almost cherry inside and out. I don't remember it having a noticeable rust spot on it even.

Forza 4? Nice. I still have 3 and recently bought Gran Turismo 5. I haven't picked up 4 yet because I hear it is a lot like 3 pretty much and almost 3.5 really.
The M3s are nice, I'd go for one but I am also rather gas mileage conscious, the M3s are not so good on gas ^^

Oh, I forgot to add too it only has 82,000 miles on it now too. I did a search on autotrader out of curiosity, out of all of the 2001 BMW 325is in the nation mine ranked in the top 3% for low mileage. I thought that was pretty cool, out of almost 300 cars on the site mine was in the top 6 for low mileage. Makes me want to take care of it that much more ^^
Germans do know how to make their automobiles comfy.
suspension work is not much of a problem on rear wheel drive car. And changed most of the bushings and lots of suspension parts on my old Volvo, and it really made the car ride very nice. Of course you have to make a pro do the alignment / adjustment of the wheels afterwards.
Of course its easier to do when you just scrap a lot of parts, even when they are not worn out yet, but its easier to fit brand new pieces together instead of saving the extra cash. Also pays in the end, then you know the parts are new.

Exactly, though I am not terribly mechanically inclined I do know some good local shops who are fair and know their stuff :) That is probably the route I'd go since the only salvage yards around here that I know of have absolutely zero if any BMWs or other 'high end' European cars for that matter.
