So I've been putting off uploading this for a while since I was too lazy to make a thumbnail. But since I'm almost up to part 3 on my deviant art I figured it'd probably be good if I finally got around to doing this.
From my DA: Hmm, where to start with this ... I'd always been interested in writing something to do with furries, since they're such an interesting and complex bunch. I've been questioning my style a lot recently, especially after I took a creative writing class. The words in my mind just don't seem to flow so well (maybe a result of being burned out on writing?). Anyways, I feel obliged to tell you: this story is gonna get very dark. So if you don't like that, then might as well go read anything else. My beta readers ~KayMiller, *usaf2222 pointed out some good things to me (firstly that the intro chapter was too dark, so I went back and changed a lot of that to symbolism and tried to make the main character a bit more likeable ...) I'd also like to thank *usaf2222 for finally getting my act in gear about writing this - I'd had the idea down on paper for the longest time but it was his push that made it happen.
Also, unlike many online stories I wrote this in the third person. Why?... Well, even though I've been complimented on my ability to include external detail without compromising flow in the first person, I felt this was too serious of a story and was a lot less personal (as in: I wrote the story for the sake of the story, not just for myself) compared to some of the other things I had written. Plus, I need the practice.
Anyways, this is my first shot at an online series. I think this is my attempt to get myself more confident in style and plotting while I'm working on my novel. I plan on releasing one section/wk but with full time work that might not happen so quick.
Thanks for reading ^^ Oh and yes, there is dragons in this eventually =P

The door handles in my house are excessively difficult to work; I was modelling his after those hah. Driving isn't too bad with paws either. I've tried it in paw gloves (not the same but close) and even not gripping the steering wheel its still possible to turn just with pressure against it. But I couldn't open the doors in my house. Either way, I don't think I said driving was easy for him. At this point he does still have fingers to some extent to... Thanks for the feedback ^^
