It's been awhile since I've drawn humans... A long while. I find drawing men particularly challenging.

I didn't use any references when drawing this picture, which is bad. Very bad. It all came out of my head, which is why it lacks realism. I've always been a firm believer that one should learn to draw from life and learn it well before drawing from one's imagination.

I am terribly disappointed in the picture overall. And yet.. I still like it because of the eyes, so it is worth posting. I think if I had used a model, it would have come out so much better.

But it took a bit of time, so I thought I'd post it anyway. Next one will be better! >_< If I can find myself a model. Heh heh.
