The company I design for hosted their first National Conference, which unfortunately ate up my week.. But the comic will resume on Monday. In the meantime, My husband and I made an interesting discovery when checking out 'Batgirl: Year One' from the library.

Not to sound like the perv that I am. But, when stationed in Ft.Sill (Oklahoma) there was about 20 Churches within a 10 block radius, and a tiny little shoppette for adult er..."entertainment" The stuff was over 6 years old. Turns out, that if you wanted "Current" stuff. You'd go to the local, Christians book store across the street. (It was a cover for the up to date stuff. The porn shop was there to catch the flack)
Still...why would someone deface a public book? If it offends them. Can't they just...I dunno. Turn the page. Or stop reading?

Found nearly the same thing in a library copy of Masamune Shirow's "Ghost in the Shell" manga: someone had removed the bulk of the "NSFW" pages. Was the culprit a perv who tried to keep the good stuff for himself, or a moralist determined to protect us from "filth"? Your guess is as good as mine, but at least the library didn't turn around and blame me for it when I reported the book as mutilated.
