Very attractive lady, and nicely done scenery. And a polar bear is not a critter you'd ever dare cross - just ask Doc Nickel. She may be smiling now...
I personally think snow leopards would be a better choice for airship crew; they're adapted to high altitude as well as cold. Polar bears spend most of their time at sea level.

Steampunk Pirates need to choose their targets carefully. The crew of the H.M.S. Ophelia once attacked an East India airship, their grapeshot making the bird a wreck, only to find out it carried no fuel or cash and it was crewed by Nuns and orphans
