I couldn't stop laughing at that rhetorical statement.
I think the problem most people have with the furries that go on these things comes from something they might say, or editing that may be done, that seems to indicate all furries are exactly like them. Like all the drama over the couple that was on a fetish episode of Tyra or whatever. "Oh no! I'm not into that! Quit saying stuff! Baaaaaw!"
All I know is that a couple years ago when I told my older brother I was a furry, he flipped out and cited what he knew about it from a) the CSI episode, and b) the MTV special he had seen :T Ultimately later he calmed down and got over it. And began asking me about chicks in the community ._.
