This started out with a much more sad emotion fueling it, but as I worked on it, I got lost in just working on it, and ended up feeling really at peace, which I think this reflects pretty well :3
Done completely in SAI, using the Brush tool with some pretty basic settings.
Black, red, and just the faintest bit of white, no other colors X3
Took a few hours, and was totally worth it ^.-.^

allow me to write some sort of thingy for this...
Slumber claims creatures both big and small, for it is in this state of being where true peace is found.
i dunno. felt like writing something to go along with the picture.

but i needs a an explanation on what all that red is wrapped around you. is it your tail? wings?
