It doesn't make any sense - I completed it on the Wii and I had absolutely no trouble at all. Nintendo said they reversed the world for right handed players, but I think they just wanted the game to be ever so slightly more playable to those who had already bought the GC version. A pathetic attempt at a bonus feature.
