This is my half of an art trade w/  bumblegoo with their character Shingle, the jumping spider/Egyptian fruit bat hybrid thingy!

I really hope you like this. I had a lotttt of fun drawing this piece, ESPECIALLY with drawing the sweatshirt (which I kind of made a little different than the ones in the ref sheet, but still hopefully Shingle's style?).

Totally took advantage of her having eyelids, as you said that you wanted more of a range of emotions to be able to show. Hope you like this kind of cute, smiling-with-the-eyes type expression. ^v^

Pen, Copics, white gel pen.

For the background I was pretty experimental; I put sketchy black lines, then blue over that, then white lines over that, and then colored a lighter blue over the white lines. I thought it turned out okay. ^^'
