A design for my character "Frito" for my comic "T.a.N.k."
Thanks to one of my great friends and art gurus,
Wovstah for help with his upper arms. She gave me pointers in Stream, whilst I struggled with the foreshortening, and lent me a few tip for seeing my errors better--horizontal flip is my friend! XP Also, all lines are hand drawn--not vector.

Haha, yeah, he's pretty happy--and with as much light that's in this picture, he may be sunbathing. Sunbathing = happy cat. T.A.N.K. stands for Tactical Army/Nuclear Knowledge. The story centers around Frito's unit investigating a situation in which a foreign power has gotten a hold of nuclear weapons. Nuclear power used for anything other than domestic humanitarian purposes is forbade by most countries. Leading up to the investigation, acts of terror have been carried out by a group calling themselves Der Neue Wulfe Reich--as citizens marched out into the woods and shot, bombs set in villages and towns, and at one point a political official is assassinated. When rumors start spreading that the D.N.W.R. might have Nuclear Weaponry, Frito's unit is called in to investigate. I don't want to give too much of the plot away, but I will tell you that the man who developed the Tactical Army Nuclear Unit has something to do with the D.N.W.R.'s new toys, as well as the current and the previous war.
