An approval sketch / WIP for suzanner of her sheep/fox character, Ottillie.
It's that dreaded 3/4 behind angle! I can't seem to figure out that left leg. If anyone could give me pointers on the legs/hooves, it would be much appreciated! :) (I sure don't draw this angle enough.)

Very sweet - I like this! My immediate impression is of it being a satyr, and those things are always cool! So to see a character who is 'completely' an anthro goat is brilliant.
Critique on the legs? Well, I suspect what you were aiming for with her leading foot was to make it look further away by making it fainter, but I feel the character's weight feels too far back. Not because it *is*, but because the leading leg is left faint. I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the leading leg needs to be a bit further forward if your character is walking. Or it needs to be more vertical and weight-bearing if she's posing.
But again, that's barely taking away from the picture which is made of awesome!

Actually, that other leg is just fainter because I haven't finished sketching it in! This is all done in pencil (my scanner makes it look like pen...?).
By saying it's further forward, do you mean it would be, proportionally speaking, shorter in comparison to the other leg? I'm going for more of a posing look, but I'm not too great with digigrade legs! :)
Thank you for the help!

Slightly shorter, yes. If you're going for a pose, then I think that front leg needs to be clearly weight-bearing.
*looks again* I think.
Gah. Sorry, I'm not as good an artist as this yet so I'm just not sure. It's a difficult pose to get right, I think. But regardless of what you do, I don't think you can go far wrong.

awww she does look really sweet. I'm loving this of her. She looks so much like seeing the famous artist nude prints growing up that my mom had. I've also learned that is what their hoof looks like! Can't say as I've had much of a chance grabbing up a sheep to see what their hooves look like.
Well heck lady! If you want to draw her more, by all means I'll have you draw her more! LOL
