The only tool I used was a pair of scissors, to cut the base piece of paper out. everything else was done with just my hands :)

I've never actually tried a dragon before,. i'll have to give it a shot; even though it'll give 2 more evidence to his "Garr is a dragon" theory. XD

Bet you'd make a LOVELY dragon- oooohhhh, with that voice.... Purrrrr. The only origami figure I ever came up with was a dragon- invented it when I seventeen (I think, don't remember entirely- gods, I'm getting old). Because I only knew how to fold the crane at the time, it got based on it. It's technically not traditional, because there is one cut needed to make the horns, but it can be folded without any cuts, too. If you're interested, I can make a map of the instructions to make it and post it to my page...

I'd love to see how it's done :D

My insomnia fits usually end up with me doodling... but I don't think my fingers could even attempt this level of patience to make something that small and that beautiful!

i used to fold origami, and that peice takes my breath away. i bow you your foldingness. :bow:

Origami is way too much fun to play with. I saw an origami cobra once, damn that thing was just gorgius... I play with it sometimes, making different things.

In researching origami on line, I've discovered a second technique to the standard dry folding: Wet folding. Maybe you could try something with that, it seems to give more varable folds and curves to the finished piece. It's a thought anyways...
