I laughed for almost five whole minutes when I saw this. It seems I knew myself before I really knew myself. In 1999 I drew this, a lynx, because our teacher wanted us to draw animals we felt a kinship for when looking through a book of animals. I drew a wolf, and a lynx. The wolf came out okay, and there was this. Also okay, but head and shoulders above the wolf.
I'd forgoten I'd ever made this, or that I'd cared that much for anything lynx related back then, almost three years before I learned what the hell a furry was.
The thing that impresses me about this is, I drew this as an original image with a few photos of lynx running around or ready to spring on prey. The original image is too large for my scanner bed, and I'm pleasantly surprised I could get it to re-assemble to cleanly on the computer. I zoomed in until all I could see was the bottom of the ear in the corner there, and stared at the original. It only took one attempt to get it. lol
The off color there is just rubber cement I'd used to attatch it to display board for my portfolio display on my final back then. Big difference in a sub-college vocational course that gives credits toward college, and an actual college course. Think I would'a bombed if I used this in a college portfolio display. heh
