Homg two drawings in one week?! :O Wow...

dragon-lover! ^.-.^
He said he wanted a science-y feel to the drawing (plus the tag on his shirt is suppose to be the University he's at), so I hope I made it look science-y enough. :P
Since he's a Luck Dragon, and has the ability to "edit" things, he's converted a bunch of regular animals into the mystical creatures we've either forgotten or have always grown up with. Quetzalquatl (originally a snake of some kind), Cerberus (originally a Doberman), Unicorn (originally a zebra), and the Rainbow Serpent (also originally a snake of some kind). I thought the Rainbow Serpent seemed a fitting touch, since DragonLover is Australian. :)
I don't draw faces facing foreward like that, so no harsh crits on that please. I am learning. I am aware that the lighting on his face makes him look like he has an incredibly short muzzle...I think...
And all the green lighting is caused by those tubes behind him and the Serpent...
I like this drawing. :3 Yup. Sure do. Maybe it's cuz of the Rainbow Serpent and its rainbowyness. :P

*hugs back* I'm so glad! ^.-.^ The original designs were never this good. Originals were all side views, one with you sitting on the Rainbow Serpent's head, writing down something on a clipboard while looking through one of the tubes...and another one where you were sitting on a desk while holding a Quetzalcuatl. Those ideas were quickly tossed.
They all sound great...But in the end you went with the best one of the lot..^_^
I'll most likely make a new icon using this picture as well..Its the first really good picture of my scalie self...and I say again..I LOVE IT...
I like the look on my face...happy, yet sly...totally Aussie..and the rainbow snakes head resting on my arm is great..Who am I kidding...The whole Picture is great....*HUGZ*...*HUGZ*.
Do you know the history about the rainbow snake?

Yeee, you're using it as an avatar! If I had feathers I'd fluff up with happiness, with a dose of modesty. ^.-.^ :P I don't know what else to say other thank thank you!
I tried to make it look like you were thinking, "Aw yeah, look what I can do. I'm pimpin' cuz I have THE POWAH! I'm so awesome." XD
I had to put snakes in since you said you love and have snakes. I would've added some scales to the Serpent, but it would've been a little difficult to have to light, shade and blend colours to every scale.
I know that it's a mythological Aboriginal creature...has something to do with the Dreamtime...it is what created the ridges and mountains as it slithered across earth... That's all I really know. ^.-.^; I've learned most of this from Wikipedia.

Well, I won't force you to Watch me, I'll leave you to decide on that. :) *reads again* Oh wait, you will? I'm flattered! Thank you! ^.-.^ I always like getting more Watchers.
Heh, yes, I've also signed up on this site for the same reason (and because a fellow dragon told me about this place)...and because I think sometime soon I'll be drawing adult-themed work.

*chuckles* Thank you! ^.-.^ I feel like I've done justice with this drawing (at first I thought I was adding too much, but over time I ended up liking it a lot). :) And normally the Rainbow Serpent would be much, much longer and bigger, but we'll just say that the creature isn't fully grown yet. ;3
Heh, yeah...for some reason my favorite type of science is Genetics. I guess I'm just fascinated by it (plus it keeps my neverending curiosity sparked and alive). I always wondered what would come out if I bred one creature with a totally different creature...

They are actually creating a human/animal hybrids - chimerae - for the stem cell research now and again, except they are obliged by the LAWS OF ETHICS to terminate the embryo several days through.
It was foretold that one day furs shall invade one of these labs, seize total contol of it, establish a defensive perimeter and start making actual furries ;3

Yeah, I read something about that a while back. And chimerism is a real genetic disease that can happen naturally from what I've seen on Discovery Health. Some baby was born and was literally half-and-half. One half was white, the other black. I think the white side was female, the black side male. I forget what the parents were...
But I'm more interested in creating animal/animal hybrids. Like mixing lizard and bat DNA. X3 Mini dragon lizards! lol

I also recall a very enviromentally inclined(is sociopathically genocidal) story by Robert Sheckley called "Doctor Zombie and His Little Furry Friends" about a disgruntled scientist who tried to create a rat/wolverine hybrid that would wipe out(or at least diminish) the rampant human population. Quite good and insightful sad story - like most of Sheckley's work. A little to none genetic specifics were presented, but the concept is...intriguing ;3
