He has killed one of them. Yet, despite awareness of where he is, ignorant there are a million more watching. They swarm, silently, about his ankles, their silent screams of rage unable to reach his ears, though they wait. Settling, rustling, plotting. Who will make the next move. The wolf? Or the legion.

Wow, the new style is still recognizable as yours (the background especially) but you do make the face and fur pop a bit more. The late-afternoon/autumn lighting is good too - a little dimmer, less shadows, sense of overcast. Motion and focus on the rake is really well done, as is the foreground blur. It has a very believable sense of speed to the swipe! Even the pose is one you don't usually see, and looks tricky to execute.
