I've always wanted to go to prom, I just never had anyone to ask until now.

My prom was a Cinderellaesque (if that's a word) story.. my mom arranged everything with my godmother and I hadn't planned on going because I didn't want to go without a date, and being a chub not alot of guys really like me at all. So my mom got me a date, a dress, a hair appt, his tux, corsages & bootineers, etc. and we arrived in my dad new 2010 black dodge challenger.. prom can be very special if you make it that way :)
Sounds like the best Mom ever, my mom would have probably done the same for me had I brought it up but I never mentioned it. I was a chub back in high school too but also very anti social. That's what happens when people are vain and choose their dates by looks, they miss out on great things.
