PnC Facial Expressions via Twitter: 6/12/12
As part of the preliminary work for the upcoming Peter & Company pilot episode, I have to crank out a ton of character model sheets. Each one needs to include a variety of facial expressions showing the wide range of emotions for each character. After giving it some thought, I decided it would be fun to make this part of the project more of a community effort!
Using Twitter, folks have been sending their requests for facial expressions they would like to see on specific characters, using the hashtag #PeterAndCompany. Each day I will browse through the suggestions and just start sketching through them, posting the end results to Twitter and a few other places (including here), and ultimately building up a wide range of unique facial expressions as reference for the animators. If you have a Twitter account and would like to join in, please do!
Keep in mind, at this point I'm only doing facial expressions for the main characters that will be in the pilot episode, so please limit your requests to include one of the following: Peter, Seth, Whitney, Ezzy, Iggy, Chelsea, and Korgar. Eventually I will need to do sheets for every character, but for now I want to try and keep it focused so I can get through the project quickly.
